Brilliant album, love the experimentation, melody and unique things they bring to the table like soft female vocals following up a breakdown. Only minor criticism is the hard parts don't hit that hard for me. Maybe it's the production but it feels a little light on the low end.

The only part that bothers me a tiny amount is the super breathy "but howww" section lol.

Probably one of the best heavy albums I've heard in quite sometime, instant classic tbh.

Wish they’d play Title Track live tonight but doubtful. Id go nuts if they did.

I wonder if the Sax Man is gonna become a fixture of their band moving forward or if this is just more of a one-off thing.

With how well his bits have gone down and the fact he went on tour with them I hope so!

It's so disheartening/depressing listening to Hollow Crown and how inspired and emotional that album is and then listening to them go through the motions for literally the five straight albums after THAN

And I am a staunch defender (biggest on this site) of THAN which is far more unique and well developed than the five cookie cutter by numbers abominations that followed it

I think Architects pushed themselves too hard to be prolific and the quality of album suffered. They released albums way too regularly and each album had four or so bangers and a lot of filler. Even after changing their sound they could’ve released a good album every three or four years but they kept churning them out. I think they’re done now that their main writer died though sadly, we’re just going for pop metal BMTH style.

On a more important note, THIS album absolutely rips and might be my AOTY.

The hype doesn't end. It only relaxes, then it fires back up again.
