by that deeply facile logic, their debut is the most cohesive because every song is performed by a band called PUP

after missing and procrastinating many times I finally got to see my first pup show in 2023 (last chance was 2013 but I missed it)

while the whole band is great, their drummer is amazingly, particularly great. What's scary is that he seems effortless the entire time, and a very solid one.

oh boy, glad you got to catch them. My count is approaching maybe 10.

By far my favorite memory of them was catching them at Coachella in 2022... I had a blast at the festival but the music was majorly disappointing. Primarily house and DJs. I dragged a group of friends to this little hidden side stage and waiting for Pup. Unsurprisingly given the rest of the fest genre they had a fairly small crowd, but everyone was die-hard into it. Hoisted my gf up on stage for her to stage dive during If this tour doesn't kill you. Not something I thought I would ever see at Coachella lol.

sounds sweet. it would be especially extra sweet to see a beloved band at a big festival.

^ reallllly depends. Seeing pup at a fest that they really didn’t fit the bill for was sweet because it was a shockingly intimate group in a wildly cool venue

Watching pup at Coachella, if it was me, I would have felt like I was meeting a dear one.

Totally Fine has gone on my playlists since it came out, I just wish they hadn't produced this in a microwave
