hating on this is definitely cringe

I think the reason it's hard to have any sort of profound take on this it's because it feels so immediate and familiar, like something you heard before, in some way or other.

Yet there's clearly a lot of work and attention put into achieving that feeling, from song-writting to instrumentals to production.

production is ace, definitely one of the better 'pristine' and (presumably) high-budget jobs I've heard in recent times. Certainly has that classic feel, which suits it well. Smooth, uncluttered yet doesn't forego the details, which absolutely do exist... this ain't overly 'basic'



Mostly just a 'fun' record, but saying that supposedly has negative connotations around here.
