Praying everyday. And since they have ruined other bands in this genre they should be more productive.

If i find anything out ill update. I think they did hit studio last year perhaps, they have become a lot more active since covid. Pre covid it was "we are writing an album talk to you in like 3 years" and they never toured

Muzz, finally got to one of the records you suggested, the Iotunn one. Was pleasantly surprised, a very cool listen actually. Surprised it isn't reviewed yet. It's a bit on the long side though, but it stays pretty consistent throughout so I guess it's ok

"anyone has paid attention about how good be'lakor lyrics are?"

Yep, By Moon and Star is a prime example, it blends so well with the music itself, pure art

much more was lost is a fucking tear jerker bro, especially the final paragraph

it's meant to tie together the stories of people who died on the mountain throughout the album, but it's also a sad story of how traumatic experiences deprive us of the optimism of childhood

I think Valence is probably the best song the band has ever written. This was my AOTY for 2021.

Edit: Kin by Whitechapel was swell too.

I just realized something important looking at the release years for all of Be’lakors album. 2 years between the frail tide and stones reach, 3 years between stones reach and of breath and bone, 4 years between of breath and bone and vessels, 5 years between vessels and coherence. That means the next album will be out in 2027 (2021 + 6 years).

Guess its time I finally jammed this. Only late by 4 years. No big deal.

It’s time. Keep in mind it’s a grower of an album, may or may not not fully click initially. Great record.

I’ve still never heard the trail tide. I’ll need to check it. Stone’s reach just seems like a lesser version of the albums after it, so I assume there’s not much for me to get from it.
