Progressive Maiden is great, but I do wish there were more fast songs here and there to separate the shorter songs from the longer ones. Though longer Maiden songs are still excellent. Paschendale is one of my all time favorites.

Yeah mate. Incredible band. I've been listening to them for nearly 30 years and pretty much enjoyed it all - then they come up with this !

Agree, I grew up with them, Live After Death was my first record ever, I was 9. They've been in my life since then like they were my step-dads lol

So happy to see they are still going strong.

Haha I am as old as the debut of Iron Maiden... and joined Sputnik short after A Matter of Life and Death. I guess that makes me one of the older guys on here in real years too...

On another note, I am still torn where to rank this in Maiden discography. Riffs, songs and energy are definitely above their last couple of albums but I can't finally decide how much they get dragged down by synths, mixing and vocal regression...

Bumping to 4.5.

Tried to go back to Book of Souls and it’s just so weak after listening to this. This is the real sequel to AMOLAD that I wanted for years.
