Imagine not being empathetic enough to understand why some people might have a problem with Lorde cosplaying their culture and language even if she consulted with a few of them to make her costume more authentic. Nah I read the whole thing. The part about hoping Lorde continues to fight for indigenous people? That doesn't scream "fuck her I don't like her" like the reply on the other page. I would understand being mad if she did it just for show or for money. I read your article too and I guess she is profiting off of "attention" as the article states, but the attention is not just being drawn on her, but to the language and to the people as well.
If a straight actor played a gay guy in something and donated all the money to HIV research or helping homosexual teens in unsafe countries, I wouldn't be upset.

That kind of white saviour narrative is exactly why people are upset. Don't thank the scholars and educators and activists and folk artists who have worked hard for decades to preserve and rejuvenate the language. Thank Lorde because she put out an EP that one time.
