Even if I’m not totally digging something, I try to give it the benefit of the doubt and if, by about halfway through the album or so, I’m still not at all into it, I’ll start skipping tracks once I get halfway through them (if nothing particularly catches my). Happened to me around track 9 here. (Though funny enough, I made it through all of Track 10 - a decent song, my second “favorite” of the album besides the opener.)
Really well crafted, just music that’s totally not for me I guess 🤷🏼♂️ It was like Ed Sheeren + Mae and I couldn’t get into it. At all.
