Seriously, it feels like the verse of the 4th song is switched with the first, the chorus in the 2nd is in the 6th and the bridge of the 9th song is in the 5th and so on so none of the songs were structured or edited correctly. All the progressions feel so jarring and out of place. And don't get me started on that god awful mixing.

The writing feels immature and uninteresting, the lyrics are really juvenile for a band of dudes in their mid-thirties who have paved themselves a big history in their genre, and overall, things feel half-baked.
It's not necessarily that the writing is horrible, it's just incredibly disappointing and lame. And sometimes that's worse.
