It's kind of fascinating to see all the wildly different rankings of their discog

The only consistent thing I have really noticed is that Bull seems to be typically towards the bottom a lot of the times, but then the other side is some think that's their best one

hats off owns already one of my favs of theirs and glimpse of the con is their best bonus track/would probably be the album's best if it made it. that w prima donna and clones before it is a hell of a closing trio

the last chevelle album released when i was a fan was la gargola. i loved that album then, and when north corridor came i loved it even more than gargola even if i didn't cared that much for chevelle's brand of music anymore

this one is mediocre tho

Not to be super predictable, but WWN is still my favorite

HOTTB is bottom 3 Chevelle despite having two of their best songs in Envy and Meddler, which is honestly a feat.

I'm still not over This Type of Thinking, it is shocking how well that album aged considering how much it's a product of its time.

Still not a huge fan of TTOT, I thought it was a very boring album for the most part, though I will admit that The Clincher is a jam

TToT has Still Running, Breach Birth, Another Know It All, Get Some, To Return

it's a very homogenous album which is a weak spot but basically every song is individually fantastic

I've been listening to TTOT since high school and it is my favorite Chevelle album. Nostalgia aside I think it aged pretty well; the syncopated rhythms (specially on Get Some) are killer there, bass tone is great, riffs galore, and for me it has the best melodic choruses of all Chevelle albums (To Return, Panic Prone, Breach Birth are some of my favs). Any song there could be a single, really. My only complaint would be the production, it sounds just a bit muffled compared to WWN and Vena Sera and it's very noticeable because it is sandwiched between those albums.

I dunno if the 3.8 meme was every supposed to be funny. It's more of an easter egg
