it's honestly dumbfounding how badly this band fell off

like they've literally become incompetent

and its not even like the lineup has changed or anything besides them kicking the pedo-bassist AFTER this album flopped

the difference is so drastic it almost makes me question if someone else was writing their material back then.

going full-on butt rock should be easy af for these guys they've always only been just a few shades removed from it anyways. shit makes zero sense

^ totally agree. It leaves me scratching my head how they can continue to write such blatantly awful tunes with what they did before

Damn no way Fronz is their new ghost writer lol.

Tom Denney & Andrew Wade are solely responsible for any good music this band has ever put out in the 2000's.

wouldn't they have more success by making listenable easycore (like actual easycore) instead of this useless thing? Who buys this stuff other than die-hard fans?

at least this album had the quality of being a trainwreck

The new song is really bad, but I didn't know Sputnik actually liked Miracle. I thought that song was embarrassing too.

@Chuckles - so are Denny and Wade not involved anymore? I thought Denney always was but I’m seeing now he apparently stopped after CC so yeah that makes sense for sure

Crazy how quickly they fell off after CC. Bad Vibrations wasn't bad but already a substantial downgrade.

Miracle was atleast listenable and seemed like course correction (albeit just back to Bad Vibrations level)

Yeah Common Courtesy was the last thing they were involved in, hence why it's been an absolute downward spiral ever since. On this new tour with TSSF and FYS they're doing I'm half expecting half the crowd to leave after Story plays because no one wants so sit through a 90 minute slog of poo-poo to get to the nostalgia encore where they play stuff from Homesick.

i do not see how bad vibrations is a significant step down from common courtesy besides naivety being bad

bad vibrations sounds like dogshit but has like 5-6 good songs at least

that one may as well be abbey road compared to their 2020s material

like 2/3s of their set consists of homesick and wsmfy songs. this album sent them to the nostalgia act realm prob never to return
