Opening 3 tracks and What Was She Wearing? are my favorites probably, but I love just about the whole thing

Don't forget to stop by "Silent Restraint." Drumming on that track in particular is fantastic, he runs away with it

I'm really thankful for surprises like this in 2020 from bands I didn't know existed until this year. A lot of my big expectations for this year either fell flat, or the albums have not come out like people thought. There are AFI, hopesfall, Coheed and Cambria, and Chevelle albums that are all probably mastered at this point. I know for a fact the new AFI is mastered and they are waiting on the pandemic to get closer to ending.

"Pearlescent" is a very nice surprise after the majority of the tracks. The focus really is on just being as pretty as possible.

It's constructed in a very different way from the rest in terms of structure and overall tone. Compared to the more hardcore/post influenced cuts heard prior, this one aims directly for a very dream, post rock/metal foray with those lush gazey vibes. Much more of a reliance on the clean vocals as well to seal the deal.
