I think my opinions are most aligned with Scoot. Very solid album, but the claims of this being their best are a bit much, and I'm not sure why DE is being downplayed by some users. That album is a beast. For me, the best moments here don't really come close to the best cuts off of DE, KNY, or SNW.

Not sure if my rating will stay the same or go down. I was running errands earlier and I played this twice over and it all started to sound a but samey after a point.

He sounds like an annoying drummer. Lemme guess, he was 10/10 on the intensity scale all the time, and never allowed for a lull to let the melody or other instruments shine?

Too many comments too fast.

"definitely a difference

one is a flippant emphasis

the other would sound as if I’m negging the heck out of it"

Yes but both expressions are used to hyperbolize the "overhypeness" that the album will receive and since words aren't quantifiable I'm afraid we're stuck with an "eye of the beholder" type of thing.
