Erak literally couldnt even play his own guitar parts. Many wtfs were had.

1. Erak always recorded well beyond his live ability.

2. Fall of Troy has like three awesome releases, so they're not some one off.

So many people dislike Rody's vocals. I must enjoy the sound of yelping or something. Maybe it's because I too am someone that talks very loud and proud. Rody sings like someone that begs to be heard.

It might have taken some digestion but I dont think I ever disliked Rody's vocals back when I actively listened to this band (kezia and fortress eras). But it sounds even more over the top here than I remember them ever being.

To me it sounds like he's actually trying again. I've been listing to these dudes since Kezia and I can wholeheartedly say that I've enjoyed every release, but Volition and Pacific Myth are the two releases I rarely revisit. More so the latter, Volition had some great tracks.

Word. I fell off with them after scurrilous so I havent heard either of those.

100% recommend giving Volition a whirl. Every track is solid, few are great. Animal Bones and Skies are my standout tracks.
