If we consider Golden Prayers to be a part of this, which I personally don't because it was recorded during the Malina sessions, then it's the best song here.

Golden Prayers is pretty good. I think their weakest bonus track is Root. On that note, Bury is fucking awesome. I'm so glad my copy of Coal has it.

"each of them is so different and succeeds at what it wanted to be good at."

Agreed (from what I've listened so far)

It's been just over a week, and I'm already kinda bored of it. Malina held up quite a bit longer.

This album reminds me of Pain of Salvation in its expansive understanding of prog, its dramatic emotion and its pop sensibilities. Good stuff.

This album feels like a side project rather than leprous.

Honestly find myself quite bored during it!

Feels like they have been trying to be like agent fresco with the previous album (which i loved) but failed at it immensely here and went another direction

Been there, was amazing. Both bands were great as usual, even if Ocean screwed up the transitions between most of the songs IMO.

Oh yeah, this album is a grower

This album will not stand the test of time. Lacks any deep.

I love Leprous but man, their music has lost what made it special. PoS still has to release a weak album like Pitfalls.
