2.) My point wasn't that you should look to the averages when reviewing. My point was that when your analysis is so far afield from the average it says a lot. At least I would think it should.
At least we're having a semi-level headed discussion about this - - it's not the norm of what this site is known for occasionally devolves itself to.
As for this - let me expand; I think you've missed what I was getting at. I'm saying the average score doesn't reflect objectivity at all. You would be better off saying it reflects a collective opinion, but that still doesn't back up the point about objective scoring/reviewing. Since that average is made up of all sorts of scores and outliers (troll accounts/haters/lovers/fanbois etc) that didn't specify any ground for their score (like I have) it can't be held as an appropriate measure either. Those scores haven't been validated and to that extent, neither have the ratings that sit closer to the average.
It would be redundant to say the only scores that matter are the one's with analysis/reviews - but since there's only two that gives quite a wide spread. That aside, in complete regards to the 'objective' scoring (which if I've done right, is the main of your thesis/argument) these would have to be considered the only ratings worth mentioning.

It already is. "All Things Will Pass" is so Damnation-y and "Lovelorn Crime" is fucking beautiful. The Swedish version is a jam too, although I know not the language. Mikael's croon in the native tongue kinda makes me wet.
