Sounds like these two songs are much better than the last two. Though I'll admit "Looking Tragic" grew on me a bit, while "Begging For Trouble" was the much better of the two. I realized what it was about "Looking.." that rubbed me the wrong way at first - it's a lot like "Heart Stops" in that Davey kind of does this boring droll to match the lyric content. Like the "Wait a minute this maybe boring" line.

Far Too Near sounds like an average track that could have been on Blood or Burials. Nothing special about it, but not bad.



Dulceria is cool and different. Really dig the bass. My only gripe is that the song doesn't really develop or go anywhere and that was something that always made AFI so special in the past, their explosive climaxes. Great track none the less.



Twisted Tongues, Begging for Trouble and Dulceria as the 3 singles would have had me hyped out of my mind ... unfortunately the awful Looking Tragic and the average escape from LA and Far Too Near are making me skeptical.

Dulceria is the best song they released so far. Far Too Near is on right now - not hitting me the same way Dulceria did. It's okay. Twisted, Begging and Dulceria are by far the strongest of the 6 songs they've released so far. I hope the other 3 tie better into the album as a whole so I can enjoy them more. As standalone songs they leave much to be desired.

Far Too Near really needs a different hook, could've been something amazing. hearing it really kinda solidifies (if it hasn't been already) the post CL, 2010's AFI sound is an era in its own right
