^ I think so too. Blues side, the rock flair and energy is something I’d like to see more of in metalcore from time to time. Adds a lot of fun and personality

If this album could work its way to the Callous Daoboys camp, we could be in for some serious fun in the future. Somebody is gonna need to pick this torch up.

Yeah, as awesome as the debut is, this has an irresistable and kinda singular blues rock flair, for how post and hard it goes in the back half.

Depends entirely on mood. If you want pure, super-serious heaviness w/post-metal influence, you go debut. If you want to kick back, jam and dance, you go self-titled.

and I'm all about this over the debut 90% of the time - and to think some people accuse me of being overly serious!
'Trophy Scars will rise up and make bluesy cowboy metalcore.'
erm, yeah I'm gonna retract that previous statement, this idea doesn't sound fun, at all, lol. Having said that I have no clue what I'd want from the next TS release, their last two will prove almost impossible to follow

I love both, but that shouldn't be much of a surprise
This is definitely the more unique and experimental of the two.

Thanks. I think next time I go to NYC I’ll leave my appendix there too.
No seriously this is great. I’ll have to check the debut also later today.

If the whole record sounded like half Stache man I’d be all over this 4.5.
Do appreciate the “crazy drunk guy” cleans splashed in there. The falsetto call and answer vocals sound like some kooky viagra boys shit, but somehow it works.
Overall, favorite French metalcore band is still Kickback tho

Kickback, that's a new name. Gonna keep that in mind.
Can't forget Comity though

I love the debut but this definitely earns points for being such a different vibe. I just like the aggression and the heavier, post-metal-y parts.
