This is sludge&doom in a more indie department - maybe its because of that

The NYC show won't be a collab (but it's a "quiet" show...presumably an Inconsolable set) but GOD DAMN just seeing Thou w/Emma on the bill as support has me squealing of immature excitement.

Wait, you live in Japan at the moment? AFAIK, she's never played in Japan and I'd say the odds of Emma playing there would only happen if she plays the Leave Them All Behind fest but that's just me speculating.
