"if their production was was prefect it would ruin everything" i didnt mean perfectly polished, wouldnt even care if the mix isnt that good. i see that they tried to convey their insanity more by pure riff-apocalypse this time rather than atmosphere like on their previous stuff, so a really muddy/low-frequency sound wouldnt fit as the riffs have to be clearly heard, but overall still a bit too flat and sterile for me. but who knows, i still need a lot more listens, maybe it suddenly clicks hard. overall its still awesome, dont think these guys could ever do a shit album but DR 6 is really ugh

DR6 is pretty standard modern metal territory, certainly better than Vexovoid's clipped-to-fuck DR3 master
