I fucking hate most post, but Amenra and Neurosis just do it so much better than everyone else.
I feel privileged to be able to say I caught the Amenra, Converge, Neurosis tour. Truly a night I’ll never forget.

Im the same dude a lot of 'Post' I find boring and formulaic I mean I know all music is about connecting but with post metal it realllllly has to grab you to pull you in to work so I get why I like some bands that some dont and Vice versa etc. Cult of Luna being an obvious one. SO many people I know worship that band but they never really did anything for me past the early days allthough 'Somewhere along the highway' did eventually click it was only like 2 years ago. I dont even think of Neurosis as a post metal band tbh.

these guys have put out some killer records and in a live setting can go toe to toe with anyone but neurosis have like 8 albums that are as good or better than anything amenra has put out.

Im from the UK but Yeah im going. I always hit one or two of the European shows. Would usually do Berlin but mixing it up and doing Dortmund instead. Will be about my 20th time seeing them hahha crazy

Mate that would be sweet but I just wont have time man for real. Amenra shows are crazy for me theres quite a few of us who all meet up at Amenra shows who have been going for years and go all over, we only see each other these shows really we all met through them.Different people at diff shows obviously and theres some of band and the crew im friends with also I only see a few times a year. So its literaly get there and its a mad rush to catch everyone before and after. I may still go to Berlin if I do I get all that out the way there and will give you a shout on here man! The worst thing about Amenra is you can only see them for the first time Live, once haha
