there's just bad songwriting under all of it.. aside from production woes and all else, that is the album's crutch.. they could have brought albini and rubin in there to spike up production, but it wouldn't make this bland pop album anything more than it is, in fact, sharper production would probably expose the glares here..

Such a fun record to listen to, pretty light and easy. I liked it a lot. Un-Reborn Again, Hideaway and Fortress are my top three songs, followed closely by Feet Don't Fail Me. I can imagine that this was meant to be a record to play live, and Josh seems to be on a very dancy mood, so I don't get all the criticism, just let the man loose a bit and have some fun.
