yeah alex lo fi specifically means 'low fidelity', this is not, and i mean jazz has been used in beats since hip hops inception so I don't rly see the big deal there, just hip hop
and this album just doesn't take itself seriously, I mean if it did, hearing 'salazar slytherin by a salad bar gigglin' and 'im Muriel crying Eustace in the building lobby, my courage is such a cowardly dog' which makes me giggle in the first place would take me right out of it. But the album is pretty fun, so once again... I have no idea where you get this is a seriousl album.
So ya what you said was totally inaccurate. No point in arguing really, you obviously haven't listened to this nearly enough, and this is gonna be my runner up for AOTY.
I mean you could just admit that was a shallow take instead of not admitting you're wrong and respond with embarrassing shit like L M A O, to a completely valid point.

compared to his last album this could def be seen as more "serious" tho, at least the themes he hits on are far from jokes. but the way he goes about it ranges from playful to stonefaced and his delivery is definitely more serious sounding. still, hard to say the entire album is "too serious"

Its not a goofy album by any means, theres a strong meditative, reflective aspect for sure. But Its also quite whacky, odd, and humorous at times.
