Doesn't take much to convert me. I'm a sucker for strong female vocals, which are clearly present here. Plus the instrumentals and production are so rich and velvety.

Love it so much but can't ever see it being a 5.0 as good as it is, I just think this is her discovering herself and not at her full potential

So far this is very special and is hitting me pretty hard emotionally so that may affect me bumping this to a 5 eventually.

wish this had more stuff like the t/t and vessels

she has a nice voice, but i much prefer the lower key performances compared to when she tries to make the vocals the main focus

I'm so interested to see how amazing the lyrics are on her new album. If Distant Solar Systems and Funeral Pyre are any indication, two years has done a great deal for her. And not only lyrically, her voice and guitar-playing have vastly improved. As far as I'm aware, she's quite smoking, so even her newer performances of old songs sound so much more divine. Then again, all of that roughness might have contributed to the majesty of this album. I'm ready to be disappointed, though, I don't think Sprained Ankle will grow old anytime soon.

Not sure but I hear Cameron Boucher from Sorority Noise had a hand in the production which I found interesting
