I'll sample tracks off both and just grab albums if I like what I hear

Lambchop gig was incredible although also doubled up as an ‘old nerd’ convention - a glimpse of my future perhaps. I was the second youngest person there - the first youngest being the wife :D
Actually two members of the band were really young lol
Highlights were them playing the two best songs off the new album running into each other (New Isn’t So You/December-ish), Hustle, In Care Of and the closing Up With People which was still real good but actually slightly less fun than Care Of.
A couple of good bits of in between tunes banter too. Venue was a strange one - EartH in Dalston, a lot of background noise with glass empties collectors working the bars - guess had a certain authenticity, plus some overpowering wafts of strong weed mixed well with my estrella.

Overall not as flat out amazing as Tindersticks at the Barbican but still one of the best shows I’ve been to the last few years.

The new album has the worst ever album art until you buy a copy and realise the glasses have shiny lenses and all is forgiven and more.

Calling it - third-favorite band of all time for me now, only behind Radiohead and the Weakerthans.
And there are still Lambchop albums I haven't yet heard.

Welp Oh Ohio has become my second 'Chop 5. It's the autumn weather that's doing it. Lambchop season.

Three tracks into the new one and so far it's exactly what I needed this morning. "Drop C" is bizarre yet mesmerizing.
Kurt Wagner has done it again, fellas.
