Album Rating: 4.5
Their debut is good - somethimes it's just nothing but fucking noise but it has some great songs (Blind, Daddy, Ball Tongue, Fake), but man I just can't get into Life is Peachy.. it has around 4 good songs but the rest does nothing for me...
Follow the Leader has overall one of their best songs "Dead Bodies Everywhere", their biggest hit "Freak on a Leash", their most disturbing song "Pretty", maybe their best "epic" closer song "My Gift To You", but I don't really like those hip-hop elements on most of the songs..
Issues is clearly their best album - the heaviest of them all, most mature of all of them, has perfect production, atmosphere, best JD perfomance, not one bad/boring song on the album..
Untouchables is their second best album - more experimental, good "ballad" songs, heavy, again great production and has maybe one or two average songs..
Take A Look in the Mirror - for me it's maybe their third or fourth best album .. best songs on the album : Counting On Me, Here It Comes Again, I'm Done, Play Me (this is how the hip-hop influenced songs on FtL should have sounded like) Alive and Right Now
Problem is some songs are really boring and dragging the whole album down
Other albums are at best average or just bad (The Path of Totality)... The Paradigm Shift was a step in the right direction, but still somewhat lost in his path - bust has some really good songs like Prey For Me, What We Do, Paranoid And Aroused, Victimized and It's All Wrong ..
The Serenity of Suffering is definitely their best material since Untouchables.. The Hating is just fucking perfect from start to end.. even the worst song on the album - Take Me - is still fun to listen to because the chorus is catchy in a good way
