Nice Tundra. You guys talking this one up got me revisiting it. It's been a bit not gonna lie. Kinda forgot how good some of these songs are. Even if I bumped this up to a 4, I think my rating is still something like this though:
Augment => Impulse > S/T > Drift > Neon

Album Rating: 3.5
Mine is this
Augment > Impulse > Andromeda > s/t LP > Moments of Clarity > s/t demo > Neon >= Drift

^ swap impulse and augment, then swap neon and drift then this is mine, but in both cases its pretty close

What do you not like as much about Drift as the others? Is it your Garrison fanboyism?

Partly yes, JT just doesn't do it for me on this whatsoever. Jesse's choruses aren't as catchy and felt a little forced on this, and while Jesse is still writing killer riffs and solos I miss the contrast of Jesse's aggro riffs with Alan's hyper melodic misery signals/hopesfall like leads and riffs. Like there's nothing on here that even comes close to songs Alan wrote like Rebirth, Invent, and Frostbite for me. The synths and keys took a different approach and I don't like it as much as the prominent piano, harp, droning (for a lack of better term) synths in the background. Some individual songs do kick ass and I come back to those, but I never jam this front to back anymore and haven't done so in a long time. There's probably more I could go into but that's the gist of it

I had this at a 4 but overtime I put it down to 3.5. Some of the songs on here I LOVE but it's not as solid as I remember.

That's funny dude, I'm about to bump to a 4. I've been spinning this more the past couple weeks and it's better than I remembered.

Production doesn't bother me too much on this one. Neon bugs me more. Also, t/t is super fucking sick. Always loved that song. The intro is so nice
