Something about Be'Lakor always has me thinking it's really good material, but I'm never able to really get invested in it

This album is easily a top 10, maybe top 5 album. Severe The Roots still jams so hard for me.

Has the band stated anywhere if there was a concept behind this album. I get that the songs are connected, but I'm not sure if it's telling a coherent story, or if there is even supposed to be one.

That riff in Withering Strands starting at 2.10 gets me every time. Pure joy and bliss for my ears. This band is probably my favorite melo-death. The whole album has ridiculously good riffs.

Australian extreme metal scene is really good. Must be something special about this place.
Thanks for rec. I m currently in to something like this, Edge of sanity, Novembre. Any other good melo death recs?

Withering Strands is god tier

Yes, yes it is. It's not even the best track on the album, so that's saying something.

This is their best album for sure

Withering Strands has some of their most memorable riffs/leads. Second best track here imo
