What on earth are you talking about? The album is very thick and bassy, the complete opposite of "hollow". It's the kind of album that sounds great blasted out of a decent set of speakers. They did a really good job with the production of the album.

I don't get it either why people are complaining about the production. Seems fine to me. Love the album but I can understand that people don't like Liberation a lot, definitely feels a bit disconnected to the rest.

I'd prefer a big epic finale, the closer they've got here is just 3:35 of nothing really. Obviously they were going for a intimate, organic track but it just sounds really contrived to me.
A shame because Global Warming and the hidden track at the end of TWoaF were great.
