This album is like Mad Max Fury Road

It has so much adrenaline and energy non-stop throughout most of it yet it's one of the best things to come out this year

@calculatinginfinity got any suggestions?

Cause I've listened to A LOT of bits and pieces of all things thrash and nothing has ever grabbed me like this.

There's also a huge and really well executed black metal influence here, which grabs me on a regular basis :]

for more tech stuff like this check:

Voivod - Dimension Hatröss
Aspid - Extravasation
Coroner - No More Color

Anacrusis - Screams and Whispers
Heathen - Victims of Deception

Sarcofago - I.N.R.I.
Tormentor - Anno Domini
Morbid Saint - Spectrum of Death
Dark Angel - Darkness Descends
Celtic Frost - Morbid Tales and To Mega Therion

I'll give you 5 with your taste in mind since you really like this:

Aspid - Extravasation (first thing I'd rec someone if they love this)

Coroner - Mental Vortex (Very proggy-tech Thrash)

Heathen - Victims Of Deception

Skeletonwitch - Serpents Unleashed (since you wanna have a dosh of Black)

Holy Moses - Finished With the Dogs (Imagine this but no sci fi, less techy and really aggressive)

What adr and calc said. Also check Annihilator - Alice in Hell

Definitely prefer Mental Vortex to No More Color for Coroner.

I do like Skeltonwitch, but like 3.5 like, whereas this is like pushing 4.5.

Heathen and Dark Angel I've tried and meh, but worth another look now!

The rest I will slap on the ever growing list!

If you only listened to reign in blood and South of heaven that would make sense because those albums suck

"Angel of Death" is my favorite Slayer song, easily a top 5 thrash song. I think if you can hear that and be like "meh" Slayer is good as dead.

Nothingface is barely thrash tho. If anything its the closest thing to their current style which is phenomenal never the less.
Just wanna get that out there to avoid confusion

@emester whatevs, prog fans say it's too thrash and thrash fans say it's too prog. It's Voivod's peak imo.
