The art cover makes you think that they are an average black metal band, though.

I just wanted to congratulate everyone on an entertaining read (last 5 pages or so)... can't join in yet (hopefully my copy arrives soon) but I'm already preparing some potentially inflammatory opinions as a contribution.

@Dominion - I can be patient & didn't feel like a pre-listen was warranted (before purchase) given I already dig 4 of their albums. Since I've ordered it may as well wait, have plenty of other stuff I can listen to in the meantime. I'm pretty (very) old school in my listening habits.

You should stop watching porn, seriously.

And that's why learning English phonetic symbols is SO important. Well at least in foreign coutries where English is not a spoken language.

Okay Aiwaz, you're worthy. Sing along to your heart's content and pronounce the words the right way. And I have no ego so I won't be taking you up on that suggestion.

I've been an Opeth fan since summer 2005 when I stumbled upon BWP in a local CD shop not knowing what it was but the artwork was calling me and I bought it sight-on-scene. One of the best blind buys of my life. When I was leaving the owner knew Opeth and chatted with me for almost an hour. He was so friendly and threw in a free CD off a stack of new releases which was Finch's Say Hello To Sunshine.
That was a fucking good day at the record store. (Shout-out to Dave's Discs)
