The title track is okay, but the video for it is a decent idea executed poorly imo. It's practically just like a scene in a movie with the song in the background except for the twenty seconds where Bowie actually shows up.

The video is insane, come on now. So much symbolism underneath it, and the graphic textures of it are excellent as well imo.

Yet it's clumsily handled

Nah, it actually seems very meticulously crafted. Ah well, let's agree to disagree.

The only problem I can find with the t/t is that "I'm a Blackstar" thing over and over (even though I'm ok with it) but the rest of the song is perfect

Oh, we are? I actually thought we were talking about Blackstar's title track video as well (spot on, Rowan!). Sorry about that, Fripp! That's why I was so enthusiastic about it, the video for Blackstar is mind-bending. As for the Next Day title track video, it's kinda sloppy in execution but still quite entertaining.

Blackstar and Lazarus videos are both iconic, Bowie was the master of the music video and no one can prove otherwise.

The video comes off like a poor David Lynch homage tbh

I like the Blackstar video, but the Lazarus one is way better.

"The video comes off like a poor David Lynch homage tbh"
That's all you get from the video, @Pots? I mean, it's much more than that imo.

Also, Blackstar and Lazarus videos are both iconic, Bowie was the master of the music video and no one can prove otherwise. [2]

That's not all I get from it it's just an observation
