I mean it's easier to not wear a specific shirt than it is to put up with stares and people asking questions all day. Wearing it anyway doesn't prove anything or make you more badass. I wouldn't mind wearing it to a show though.

I understand where you're coming from, but it's more for the sake of convenience. The average person doesn't know that Isis was a band, and explaining it several times a day isn't ideal. I'd wear it to a show but I don't really feel the need to wear a specific shirt when I have many others. Just my preference.

Not wearing a shirt because you don't wanna deal with insults or questions about something people probably don't know about can't be a hard concept to grasp. I'm sure a lot of people who listen to more underground metal know of isis but people who only listen to the radio only know of Fucking ISIS for the most part. They're my fav band now, but that's why Id never wanna wear one proudly unfortunately.

besides the strangers and onlookers who would most likely not even look at you for busy reasons or just plain don't want to look at your ass, if you have people who'd talk with you over your shirt then those aren't the type of people to be around.

My isis t-shirt has only lyrics and artwork from Wavering printed on it so I'm chill with it
