What does anyone think of the visual direction of this album? I'm still unsure about the music itself, but I found it combined with the clips on the official audios to be beautifully mesmerising. Definitely an experience.

was insaneeeeee. all local bands and they were surprisingly great. Foxing of course was incredible like def one of the best bands I've seen live. Also they were so genuine and like really happy the whole time it was a really special experience. I got a poster and a shirt also and talked to Conor for a bit

I'm having so much trouble getting into the second half of this record. I do hope it clicks, because I do love some their lyrics and I absolutely adore the band. But it's even forcing me to reevaluate what I think about The Albatross.

I find the instrumentation and some of the songs themselves quite bland. It seems at times as though sometimes the music attempts some sort of emotion and not much else. Going to give this at least a few more listens, though, I can feel it growing on me. I like Glass Coughs, though Laundered, Redwoods, and Three on a Match just don't seem to be doing much for me. But I still find this album as a whole so amazingly alluring, so I'm quite confused at the moment.

Laundered and Redwoods have grown on me, I hope they do for you too. I still feel like the closer could have been so much better, but it still has its moments- especially the first half of the song.

Finally got to rate this. Raised The Albatross to a 4.5 because after thinking about it a lot I decided that I like it more due to its personal character, although Dealer is still excellent.
