I love Moon & Antarctica. I love Lonesome Crowded West slightly less so, but it's love nonetheless.

Every single album by these guys (M&A aside) is hit or miss for me.

Album Rating: 3.6
That would make sense since M&A is their only perfect album, and the only one with no filler

"album lost its replay value within a week, and i only played it 4 times. it seemed really good at first though "
sadly this is pretty true

As much as I enjoyed M&A, I don't think it's the perfect album everyone says it is. I think a 4/5 is just fine for me with that album.

you think this is as good as tm&a?

M&A is better, then again I haven't listened to this in a while so my rating might change. Though I still think this is a bit underrated.

Most of the songs right after Ansel could be in the top 20 but yeah Art that's the main reason my rating isn't higher

Very 3.5ey sort of album. Pretty solidly enjoyable throughout but why would I be stuck on this when so many other wonderful MM albums exist.
|
| |
just jamming this now. so far it seems better than We Were Dead but not as good as Good News or any of their other albums
|

Album Rating: 3.6
If We Were Dead didn't have March Into The Sea and Spitting Venom it'd be about as good as this
|
| |
You don't like Spitting Venom, Talons???? Wow that's surprising

Album Rating: 3.6
No no no I'm saying that those two songs make it better than this, Spitting Venom and The Stars Are Projectors are my favorite Modest Mouse songs
|
| |
Oh ok that makes a bit more sense ahaha. Spitting Venom's definitely the best song on that record
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.6
Absolutely, that second part of Spitting Venom is like a transcendental lullaby and is still their best song since The Stars Are Projectors.
Sorry, reading over my comment now I can see how it could be misconstrued that way haha
