Don't know if it's been said already, or not. The other day I saw a poster about a gay parade and I saw the acronym LGBTQI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual, Queen and sth) and I wonder, maybe Rishloo came up with such a weird title to express their opinion on sexuality? (I remind, the record's acronym is LGBT)

Seems far fetched haha but it's very possible.

That actually kinda makes sense, in the way that the title makes no sense otherwise

"I really don't get why the production gets flack on this, for me it's perfect"

It's a bit dry, lacking in both high and low frequency presence. The mix is good, but it sounds a bit flat.

Whether or not you notice, though, is highly dependent on your listening gear.

They've never been a band about the production but it doesn't bother me anymore

It only bothers me because of my headphones. HD800s are not kind to any form of mastering or compression flaws.

Idk man like I'm not exactly an audiophile but production is a big thing for me, but this never feels flat. In fact during the crescendo in Dark Charade I think it sounds quite the opposite, as an example

The dynamic range is very compressed, and it rolls off pretty significantly at both ends of the frequency spectrum. It lacks air and punch. Compare it to something like TesseracT's "Altered State" to see what I mean.

Still fucking love this album. The last minute of Landmines is tasty.

Think Dead Rope Machine is underrated, that crescendo near the end is stunning.

This may well become a 5 eventually considering I listen to this almost every day and never get bored.

Saluations is such a lyrical achivement. The focus on pessimistic philosophy and irony is striking.

Yep, I think the lyrics across the board are very interesting. My favourite lyrics are on Just a Ride; not because I think they're necessarily better, but because I can relate to them more and I think they're a bit easier to decipher the meaning of than Salutations

Yeah this album is 100% killer. Still hasnt gotten them the attention they deserve though, especially for a band that sounds so mature and well-rounded here.

Cool man, I'm sure they're doing everything they can. They're busy people and they're also not a very big band.

At first I thought he was saying 'Loooooooooook what have you done'' but that made no sense and realised he was actually saying fuck. And I was like, oh, better.
