II feels a bit half assed though, its got like 15 minutes of basically filler in it and its already their shortest album and im not too fond of the production on it

i understand that, i think i like it so much because it sacrifices a lot of the conventions of the first album for just straight impenetrable dense walls of noise that take multiple listens to make sense of. i dont see the second track as filler, i just think it plays out as one wholistic piece and the second track feels necessary to that

Well Ive only listened to it twice lol I should give it a couple more spins before judging it decisively but whenever I feel like listening to this band Ill always listen to one of their other albums.
Its amazing how they can create long ass albums that are engaging thru fairly simple black metal chord progressions, blastbeats and ambient space shit tho really great band.
