Eh it depends on what the person's into like if they dig heavy shit I'd rec them this if they're more alt-rocky I'd rec Koi and if they like drugs prolly SNW

Like all their albums up to Gore sound totally different so I think each has its place

for me this has the 90s sound that I love, plus the well-produced heaviness that's part of it. idk about the drugs part for SNW but if they dig the fuzz and the shoegazey feel to it then that's the record for them.

yeah even after getting well into those first 4 albums SNW took at least 3 listens or so to really "click" with me



though part of that had to do with the noticeable shift in production, I guess

Thats my main issue with Gore, it had no distinct atmosphere or mood as with all their other output. Even the production is lifeless.

This has such a late 90's sound to it, you could almost pinpoint the year it was released after hearing it.
