Javier is just as good a guitarist in my books, his mestis work is really quite original and interesting. Matt Garska is obviously a beast too.

Does anyone know any bands that write/play/produce music akin to the 1:14 mark of “Nephele” ? Its pretty amazing, in my eyes.

do you need to be able to sit through the entire album? if you can't, you can't. what's the big deal? just listen to it in chunks. not every album is made as a 'complete all-at-once experience'

damn, some people

This review is verbose. Seriously, it is so flowery I felt like I was sprinting through a rose garden.

Dat groove on the whole album. This is their best overall work too. Tosin actually finds melody and structure here, I just listen to Weightless and s/t and they both have a lot of wanking.

Really tasteful album. All the musicians did a great job. So far my favorite is actually Para Mexer

which sounds like Javier on his custom Ortega or if it's not him then Tosin has learned a thing or two

from Javier. Matt Grastka did an awesome job on this album and has brought a lot to the band.

Easily their best work yet, was pleasantly surprised after Weightless being a little bit of a disappointment for me (still not bad). Great push forward, Javier shines a little more which adds a lot to the overall sound and Matt is obviously great as well.
