The early stuff is a lot rawer, don't jam it unless you're a seasoned DM listener.

Na man, they are more OSDM tbh, riffs for days but more brutal than 'flashy' compared to TSOP.

Perennial Quest is prob the best closer out of this, Human and ITP. Gotta love that acoustic outro.

Its prob my least favourite on here tbh, the clean outro is beautiful though.
The Philosopher is prob my fave Death closer tbh.

Vacant Planets rules, yeah. Atm I'd say I prefer it to The Philosopher as a closer.

Sacred Serenity is a GOAT track.
The case could very well be made for Death having been the best thing that happened to metal, as exaggerated as that sounds.
Shit, I can see myself 5'ing this.

I don't subscribe to that "whoever did it first did it best logic", although some might. Even if Sabbath's first 3 are untouchable classics, I'm one of those who say things only got better from there.
Don't get me wrong though, no riff will ever be better than "Into the Void".
I know, I make no sense, but whatever...
