Realistic assessment of fiction

whats wrong with expecting some realism in films? its completely ridiculous that someone as deranged as Stansfield could ever be a DEA agent, what with the mass killings and drug dealing and such. Im all over bending the realms of truth and fiction but that was just bullshit. The plant metaphor was one of the cheesiest things iver ever seen, I visibly cringed when she planted it at the end of the film. maybe it is an example of expectations confounding my overall experience, but I just found it to be incredibly disappointing.
