reports from the new album festival are interesting - people saying there's almost no rapping, mostly singing, jazz/tribal music

So Gambino's gonna release his own Kamaal the abstract?

Interesting

I don't know what that is, it sounds to me like he might drop an album of Urns which I could very much get behind

Intersting, although I'm a little disappointed if that's the case because the rapping here is so good

I'd be a little disappointed, too. But I've heard a lot of people talk about Because the Internet as though there's not all that much rapping on it as well, so I'll be cautiously skeptical till I get to hear it.

The rapping is pretty good yeah but he's shown several times that some of his best stuff is with just singing (Urn, Flight of the Navigator, Sober etc) so I'm pumped

On a side note, this is blowing up right now, heard it a couple weeks ago but paid no attention. Unsure if it was discussed here, it's just a bunch of Kendrick verses over the BTI instrumentals, some of it's interesting: https://gibberishmass.bandcamp.com/album/good-boy-d-e-e-p-web

I'm still pumped, agreed, I think he could pull it off. Those songs and U Don't Have to Call more than prove that.

Towards the end of Shadows, that strange little bridge section's been getting caught in my head since I heard it. I end up humming and tapping along to it at the most random of times.
