Elitist doesn't use such awful cleans though which really take away from the music.

The cleans don't take away from the music, it's just that they're melodically generic. This is nothing far from AILD melodic minor shit

It'd be sweet if they did some ballsey clean singing. Like every time I die/baroness style or something. One of these bands should do that.

Um... they did. Erra didn't

yer see i actually happen to like jesse's cleans & find them not to be entirely generic...so i guess can see why that would be a divisive factor. if it's not your cup of tea, then it's not your cup of tea.

I guess they just do for me because once I hear the bad cleans it's really the only thing I can focus on. Pretty much explains why I also am not a big fan of AILD.

I can say that the cleans do leave this unsettling pop-punk vibe, atleast for me. There's something about em overall that ruins what could potentially be, especially instead of these chorus and outro parts

I love pop-punk & post-hardcore just about as much as I love metal & shred - so that probably explains why this has such magnetic appeal for me

Melodic minor is like the worst key in metal, sorry to offend you. But it can be used for good
