fuck being uncvlt, it's not in the same genre of under a funeral moon, but early dimmu is pretty fun, as you said. no need for shame.

I listened to a lot of power metal today so I have no right to hate on the cheese. Will see how this goes

Come on, the 90s and zeros were all about shitting on Dimmu Burger. All the arguments have been made, and when you repeat them it's like getting a forward from grandma. Do you also think Elvis is too suggestive?

This album is awesome, but very far from trve kvlt.

Welp, Dimmu Borgir have just announced a new album 7 years after Abrahadabra called Eonian, and this is what Silenoz had to say about it:

“Time, when not approaching it from the construct we’re used to can’t be defined and thus it is illusory. There’s only an ‘eternal now,’ which the album title is already hinting at. When we travel between the worlds seen and unseen, the perception of time ceases to exist, it has no function. Our energy is our torch and our compass when we make rifts and pierce through the veil – when we go beyond.”

Progenies was the first BM song I ever heard.

Remember being at my friends house when I was like 14 and he had this Metalhammer DVD.

There was live songs on there from like: Turisas, Deicide, Every Time I Die and Dimmu.

Safe to say I didn't get it at the time and turned my nose up at the riffs hahaha.
