Phantom Limb Masturbation was cool live

I'd pay a lot of money just to see them play one song. They never come around my area.

Saw them live on the 25th with Carcass and Gorguts, I got so lucky I found out about the show just 2 days beforehand lol. Statutory Ape was the best though

Damn dude I got so excited when I saw that tour, then I saw the tour dates. I hope they get on a big summer tour like Summer Slaughter this year.

Yeah I would love to see a longer set, they only played for like 40-45 minutes. I was happy they played stuff from their older albums though, don't like the stuff off this one as much as from other albums.

The only album I really dislike is Deflorate, it bores me every time I try to listen to it.

Like how this album is more melodeath oriented. All the melodic elements help to bring out the brutality better.

Some people are saying that it's more of the same thing, but I found it to be the most outside the box they've every been. I believe they replaced at least one member with a member from Abigail Williams and the whole album has a noticeable black metal feel. I wasn't introduced to the band through their first three albums unlike most it seems. Ritual was the first one that I really became interested in actually but I think this is a phenomenal album and one that I've been listening to quite a bit.

I literally made an account to voice my opinion about this album. Fanboy incoming, beware. I've been listening to BDM since Unhallowed and I cannot get into Everblack. Without Shannon, it just doesn't keep up with the other albums. That's not to say Alan Cassidy isn't a good drummer by any means; he tears it up on the first song of Everblack and it got me pumped about the album. Unfortunately the album didn't click with me as I continued listening. Trevor's vocals are on point as always and I really did enjoy the guitar work in Everblack though. The solo's are definitely showcased a lot more and keep the mood melodic. Going to keep listening to see if it's going to grow on me. Still, its no Nocturnal or Miasma. :p
