i agree, i think they are decent, but they aren't that good. i know a lot of nu-metal bands that are better than this, disturbed in particular

No way. Disturbed is a whole lot worse than Slipknot. Why? Simple. Slipknot is more original, Disturbed follows the Black Sabbath-Judas Priest blueprints that were laid out before them. Two: Slipknot's bandmembers are better at thier instruments, and not just Joey. If you lay off the three our four "excess" members, you realize the ones who actually play are pretty good. Three: Disturbed is getting kind of boring, in my opinion. Most of thier songs sound too alike. Just listen to Believe.
And that's why Slipknot kills Disturbed.

But Mudvayne is better.

TTF is a lot better than Believe, it actually has guitar solos. i still can listen to slipknot, but i think that Disturbed has a better sound to them IMO.

Good point, but I personally find David's vocals to get annoying after a while. While Corey's lyrics are unoriginal they add to the overall effect. Slipknot's guitar solos are better than Disturbed's IMO. Just my opinion, though. I can certianly see why you like Disturbed better, thier songs are much more catchy.

I agree 100% about the drummer. If he played with an actual metal band i would like him soooo much more.

What the hell do the guys with the trash cans do anyway, and do they really need two of them???!!! Same with the really queer sounding Turntables and Samples. They are soooo pointless. Corey's rapping also turns me off like no other.

I love People=S**t. I liked the growling on Down With The Sickness, not much else. I still like Disturbed, but not nearly as much as Slipknot.

i reckon mudvayne owns over slipknot and disturbed. i find alot of slipknot songs annoying, noisy and boring, such as "tattered and torn" but disturbed's vocals can get really annoying after a while. (IMO)
