I've never really looked at music like that. If there's good stuff that's a plus, but if there's one or two bad aspects that are ignorable then I will ignore them, they don't bring the music down. Unless they're glaring. And I've never been massive enough on the lyrical part of music for it to bother me too much if they're mediocre
