It sounds more honest, to tell you what i think. IMO, Altars sounds so forced and moreso after listening to this.
Its like they tried too hard to be the BADDEST and EVILEST and FASTEST guys ever in Altars, and here, they pull it out with a simplicity that`s just impressive, for a first album / effort.
I think Blessed and Covenant are far superior to Altars, just based on the fact that they (IMO, as always) sound SOOO much better, with better song structures when they stopped tried to be better than other bands, instead of being better musicians for themselves.
