Rebut you about what aids? Pretty much everyone agrees that it's bad
rebut any of the points I made in that massive post on the last page. The point is that I don't agree with "pretty much everyone." Again, your reading comprehension skills are lacking.

I think that 'Scary Bolly Dub' is actually the worse thing on here, partly because he called it a dub. I think he saw other people do that and thought it was cool, because it certainly isn't one

You just said it kinda sucks though, so you kinda do agree with pretty much everyone. A 2.5 isn't a positive score

that's not really what I said at all but it's fine
Deviant yeah that's pretty dumb, I didn't realize that's why he titled the song like that but it makes sense now. This guy knows even less about electronic music than his fans!

Well, he's at least heard of the word 'Dub' which puts him far ahead of his fanbase.
But to respond to your actual post:
I do agree that this is not awful for his standards. But it is by anyone else's. The only thing close to 'average' is The Reason and I kinda agree with your Deadmau5 comparison (which is not necessarily a good thing). Bun Dem Bolly Dub is as bad as Scary After Hours (read: offensively bad). The main issue to me with Leaving is that it sounds like someone with like 2 months of producing experience has made it which might actually be the case if you want to believe in all the 'Skrillex was ghost produced on mau5trap' conspiracies floating around the internet.

Well I mean I can't really disagree with a lot of what you said there, but I think there is sooooooo much music out there that is soooooooo much worse than this (for example: Bangarang) and I honestly think it's "average" by today's mainstream EDM standards. Different strokes I guess. I mean, I will never, ever listen to this EP again, but he's capable of much worse.

bangarang is amazing though

his fans know the word 'dub', they just use it as a shortening of 'dubstep'.
Oh and even tm, deviant and jash are constantly disagreeing

That's not what dub implies

I think he's aware of that :O

Even if that is the case, it sadly validates my point even further. Way to misrepresent a genre even further Sonny boy

I feel bad for Lee 'Scratch' Perry, having to watch people take a dump on his legacy :/

yeah that was my point

Question: What exactly is "dub?" I know dubstep formed from dub and 2-step but that's about all I know from the genre.
Also, while we're on the topic of Skrillex: what genre is Kyoto? I know "drumstep" is a Rob Swire creation (as a term) but I don't know the actual name for the genre. I'm hesitant to use "half-time DnB" since it's not really legit half-time DnB but I may be totally wrong here.

Dub is Afro-carribean music. Sometimes there're electronics in the music, but it's mostly slowed down beats that have a swing
to it. Dubstep is more dark and stiff/robotic. Losing a lot of that swing sound.

"Omaha I'm curious as to what you see in this. I mean without the half ass compilation song I could see this being a 2 for me, but no higher than that"
I actually agree with Deviant in that the compilation's the worst thing on here. I enjoy the other songs, although the vocal samples aren't well-done.

I still quite enjoy the title track. But since the other two are worth 0 that still leaves this at 1.5

Jacob, you're way too 'friendly' (for Sputnik).

'Question: What exactly is "dub?" I know dubstep formed from dub and 2-step but that's about all I
know from the genre.'
Dub was originally a reggae subgenre which mainly consisted of producers 'dubbing' existing reggae
songs with electronic effects, reverb, ...
