aids did you even read anything i said? i was asking questions about dubstep. according to you, iNTRiKeT is dubstep. i was asking for you to expand on that. idk why you have to bring up past shit that has nothing to do with it just because youre too goddamn self-righteous to talk about it with someone that doesn't know as much about it as you do.

i said that ONE SONG was dubstep, which it is.
stop accusing me of not reading what you say, because i always do (I dont know why i always do, but
i always fucking do). you need to read what i said, and apparently more than a couple of times
because the basic thoughts I am trying to communicate are not penetrating that thick fucking skull
and getting into your brain

Insurrection, read with your eyes:
Dubstep came about after 2 step music (garage) began to wan in popularity, with some producers wanting to simulate the complex basslines of drum and bass music but at a more contemplative tempo. When mixed in with dub and reggae influence (a reference back to the old school jungle days) dubstep was born. Over the years it went through various changes, at one end becoming more experimental and at others, more aggressive. It found fame in America around 2007-2008 and when picked up by American producers was given a glossy overhaul and paired with almost "pop" sensibilities. Truthfully, the difference between the two sounds is that "brostep" bears little in common with the genre's origins, as all it really does is plagiarize the basslines of dubstep, it has no roots in either garage music or dub music.
