I was in a serious Maiden binge a couple of months ago and it happens from time to time even though I've heard their albums a million times. Even their "weak" albums are great, with the exception of a couple of we-know-which-they-are.

Late to the party, but, honestly, I think it's between this and Powerslave as the best. Beast is amazing too, don't get me wrong.

s/t or number for me probably

it's hard to say that though considering how many great albums maiden had in the 80's, like literally every album they put out in the 80's destroys

Pretty much yea.

If I really had to choose then Powerslave or this, but 80's Maiden is golden.

Yeah, not many bands can say that they were THAT consistant in the 80's

Yep, I personally think their 21st century output has been real solid as well. 90's wasn't the best time for maiden ofc.

tbh dance of death is probably second behind this in my books, people seriously underrate their new millennium stuff that isn't brave new world
